About Isabelle

"Map of Seletar, 2007" photo by Albert Sim, ©SPH.
A former scientist (PhD in Molecular Biology) and a current artist (MA Fine Art), Isabelle eagerly mixes the two in her daily life.
Isabelle has been teaching drawing techniques in International Schools and privately for over 9 years. She has also designed children’s workshops for museums (ACM, NMS and SAM) and the STPI, as well as adults workshops with the nurses of SGH.
Isabelle’s own art uses a variety of techniques, from drawing to sculpting with paper, book-making, watercolors… depending on the topic at hand, Isabelle wants to be able to choose the most appropriate medium to answer the question. Most recently, her work has included video-making and performative lectures, as media best suited to answer her current questions. Isabelle’s art can be viewed on her artist website.

I have the neceesary information from this website already. Is it possible to send me a few of your lovely photos (high-resolution) of the recycled toys you have made to be used for the magazine feature? Thank you and hear from you soon!
