A busy last 3 months ahead

The deadline of December for the closure of the studio is now feeling real.

Many of you have been asking whether the studio is closing for good. The answer at this moment is “I don’t know”. Certainly, the studio as it exists now will disappear together with the house at 5, Hay Market, Seletar Camp. Updates will be posted here. Don’t miss out on your last chance for a trial class next week (1st week of September), since regular classes will start again for 10 weeks from the 8th of September. No more green environment after that.

After December, I might be looking for a new “environment-friendly” studio. If you know of such a place, or if there is another artist out there looking to share a studio, feel free to let me know.

Finally, here is the schedule for the Parent-child workshops, first Saturday of each month:

September 6th, 2-4 pm: Silk-screen your own T-shirt

October 4th, 2-4 pm: Design your own book

November 1st, 2-4 pm: Introduction to printmaking

December 6th, 2-4pm: Creating Greeting Cards

Sign up early to avoid disappointment and to help me plan better the workshops. Workshops are limited to 5 teams. All material is provided. Fees: $55/60

In the meantime, I am planning on spending more time on developing my own art; time has come to start exhibiting my work. To start with, an exhibition-concert is planned for the 21st of September. If you want information about this, contact me directly!

After this, I will continue working on paper sculptures and art and science projects. To learn more, please visit my artist website.
