A scientist by profession (Dr. in Molecular Biology) and an artist by passion, Isabelle gave up science for art 9 years ago.

Isabelle has been teaching drawing in International Schools (CIS) and privately for over 6 years. More recently, she has designed workshops for museums (ACM and NHM) and the STPI. She is currently working with nurses at SGH to create a large sculpture and an installation in the hospital.

Isabelle’s art ranges from figure drawings (Exhibition with the Markmakers, Substation 2004) to sculptures and installations (Solo exhibition , ArtyFakt Gallery, 2007).

Isabelle’s recent works include studies of birds in pencil and watercolour , for a sketchbook on Seletar (available from Museum shops islandwide), and a detailed axonometric map of Seletar Camp.

Her current work consists of paper sculpture and explores the lineage between Bird and Man. You can view her current work here.
