For some, November marks the end of the school year, with exam being wrapped up this week. For others, the holidays are still a long way coming. Either way, there’s something for you at isadora’s workshop this month. If you’ve missed the T-shirt printing last week, here’s a second chance, this Saturday, Nov. 3rd (2-4pm) to try Silk-Screen printing and stencils on T-shirts. After spending some time working out a design, you’ll get to print it on your T-shirt, for a very professional result! There will be space for explorations : shapes, lines, colours and composition are all part of your own final design. In the week of the 19th to the 23rd, you can attend the Fantasy Land Camp in the morning, where we’ll learn to draw by drawing fairies, pixies, monsters and other fantastic creatures and their environments: castles mostly. And during the week, in the afternoon, we’ll be Making Books: from designing decorative paper to building our own book. Either way, make sure you go and visit the Calendar of Events and register early for your chosen workshop. Hope to see you soon! But I am not the only one running workshops on the camp. Saturday mornings is when things happen at my neighbor Sabine’s le Petit Atelier. For more on what’s happening on the camp, art-related or nature-related, be sure to check the Postcards From Seletar websiteThis month, adults can learn to decorate textiles with Kelly Reedy, at the ACM. The workshop happens on the Friday 23rd Nov (7-9pm) and on the Sun (11am-4pm). Contact her for more details. Kelly will also be running workshops at the STPI this month, on the 17th (a talk) and on the 24th of Nov. (1-5pm): Painting a story. I think I will be signing up for it myself – see you there!
